Sage has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for 18 years, primarily in the field of women’s health, fertility and pregnancy.
Since Sage was very young she knew that she wanted to work with birthing women, after attending her first birth at the age of 14.
Prior to moving to the Sunshine Coast, Sage worked at the Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic in Sydney, founded by Jane Lyttleton, since 2008.
This clinic focused on seeing patients through fertility, early pregnancy, birth and beyond.

Fertility
Working with an extensive network of IVF doctors and clinics, obstetricians, hospitals and midwives, Sage was fortunate to have an opportunity to see 1000s of patients both in her natural medicine clinic and the day hospital setting, being on call for pre and post embryo transfers and tailoring specialised protocols for PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) patients and long term difficult-to-treat cases of infertility.
Single & same sex partners Sage supports same sex or transgender couples or singles going through IVF, assisted reproduction treatments including donor sperm and overseas donor egg cycles.

Women’s health, menopause & male factor infertility

Sage also supports patients with early perimenopausal symptoms, low ovarian reserve, endometriosis, and an array of male factor/sperm health problems.
Sage loves to support patients through menopausal symptoms and believes it can be a beautiful transition in life.

Pregnancy
Sage sees many patients through their pregnancies supporting people with a history of repetitive or early miscarriage, through the middle trimester and into the beautiful preparation period for birth.
Sage shares techniques for acupressure during labour with her patients and their birth support partners, helping empower and prepare them for their most positive possible birthing experience.

Sage is a qualified Birth Doula and is currently studying Childbirth Education, lactation counselling and postnatal Doula to better help her current patients.

Cancer
Sage moved to the Sunshine Coast early 2023 in an effort to support her partner who had palliative stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue that had metastasised to his neck. Despite this harrowing and brutal cancer journey for 6 years her partner is alive and able to tell the tale today.
Sage recently spoke of this experience and how to safely support a patient undergoing cancer treatment as a keynote speaker at the 2025 AACMAC (Australasian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Annual Conference).

Holistic approach
Sage’s level of experience enables her to really spend time with each patient, going through their history, life experience, physical and mental health, to try and help them find their way through their unique fertility or health presentation.
Drawing on extensive clinical experience and lived wisdom, Sage works gently and collaboratively to support balance, resilience and sustainable wellbeing in her patients.

Music & retreats
Sage is also a Kirtan singer and musician.
Sage often sings with Sacred Earth, works on their retreats and regularly plays music at the local Meher Baba spiritual centre (Avatar’s Abode) and Chenrezig Buddhist Institute.This creative and devotional work naturally informs the sense of presence, care and awareness she brings into her clinical practice.
